Welcome Back!!

Hello and welcome back to all of my friends, colleagues, students, and families,

I hope that you all had a wonderful summer and got some much needed rest during these very stressful times.  No matter how you are heading back to school, please know that I am thinking of you and wishing you all the very best!  Go easy on yourself--these times are unprecedented, which means quite a bit of trial and error and learning as we go.  The good news is that we will all come out of this with skills, knowledge and achievements that we never dreamed were possible.  It is ok to step out of your comfort zone--to embrace change, rather than to fight it.  Embracing change may not make it easier (physically or emotionally), but it will help to provide the solid scaffolding we need to move forward with a mindful, meaningful and positive outlook.  We can do this!

Please do not ever hesitate to reach out to me with any questions that you may have.  Collaboration and teamwork are two key elements to a successful school year.  As the saying goes, "team work makes the dream work!"  The best way to contact me is through my Educational Services Unit email address, which is:  [email protected]

Wishing you all the very best,

Caroline

Virtual Classrooms

Here are some great activities and ideas for helping kiddos to carryover and generalize their skills, even when they are not physically in school.  These were shared by our fabulous Vicki Cann!

Back To School Update Form

Here is a great form created by Understood.org where families can share information about their child with teachers.  The form includes strengths, challenges, how things went with distance learning in the spring, events happening at home, etc.  Check it out and share!
